Dresses for girls have been around for centuries. A dress is a skirt with a longer piece of material attached to the outside that (usually) hangs down to the floor. Dresses are normally worn by women for special occasions such as weddings, funerals, baby showers, graduations and other similar events.
The most popular type of dress is a wedding dress. Women look forward to picking out a wedding dress for their entire life. Wedding dresses are usually pure white, very pretty and stand out. A wedding is a day for the bride, and wedding dresses help put the focus and attention on her.
Dresses just scream "elegant" and "class", and that's reason enough why dresses will never go out of style. Dresses make women look and feel beautiful, so everybody from high school girls at prom to grandparents at a wedding will wear a dress.
